Rock Formations at Bayahibe
After you leave by boat at Bayahibe Beach, you head south along the western coast of Del Este National Park.
Here are amazing rock formations and caves—the water line used to be at the top of the cliffs, but the earth is rising constantly and the sea level drops accordingly. You will have to ask the locals about this, I was too busy taking photos to listen closely to our tour guide.)
Interestingly there are spontaneous fires caused by the frictions beneath the rock and they often have forest fires in the park beside all the BBQ's!
