When I go on vacation, one of the things I most look forward to is heading to the soft golden sands, watching as the turquoise waters lap gently against the shoreline and soaking up some much needed sunshine and warmth whilst enjoying the gorgeous scenery.

It's funny to think that this fabulous vacations destination was once just a sleepy town on the southeast coast of the Dominican Republic, as it has now evolved into a very popular and spectacular tourist hub.
